Sir Alex Ferguson

Sir Alex started his managerial career at the 'Shire in 1974, famously inspiring the team to a rare victory over local rivals Falkirk FC. He went on to become a legendary manager in Scotland and England winning the European Cup Winners Cup with Aberdeen in 1983 and the UEFA Champions League with Manchester Utd in 1999 and 2008.

Jeff Stelling

Jeff is a cult hero presenting SKY Sports Soccer Saturday results show and is also the host of Countdown, the famous Channel 4 TV quiz show. A Hartlepool Utd fan, Jeff became known for focusing on 'Shire results and enthusiastically supporting the team on air during our recent 'bad' times.

Hugo Southwell

Hugo is better known as a current Scottish international rugby player although his grandfather was a former chairman of East Stirlingshire F.C.

Gordon 'Rusty' Russell

Gordon is a legendary `Shire player, ex-captain and current paying shiretrust member. Gordon holds the record number of appearances for the 'Shire and scored the winning penalty in the Stirlingshire Cup final in 2000 - the clubs last trophy win.
